First thing to be noted as an additional content is that "Star Wars: Battlefron" Battle of Jakku DLC content is no longer required to get a separate download if gamers want the DLC, as the new update brings the DLC patched into the game itself. If gamers have already downloaded the Jakku DLC, they may now delete it on their hard drives.

Another additional content that gamers could take advantage of is the addition of a new map called Twilight on Hoth. The said map is available on the Turning Point, Walker Assault, Drop Zone, Heroes vs. Villains, Fighter Squadron, Blast and Supremacy game types.

There is also a new mission called Survival in the Ice Caves that was added to Survival Missions, while the Turning Point game mode was added to SoroSuub Centroplex, Junland Wastes, Forest of Endor and Outpost Beta.

Furthermore, just after EA released the patch notes, gamers are going crazy with the addition of Film Grain Slider on Video Menu, as this feature will allow gamers to choose as much classic look they wanted to. The said option can deliver a '70s/early '80s touch to the game.

EA's first and third-person shooter game is not precisely bursting at the creases with content, but the game's developer DICE is utilizing this kind of updates and improvements to keep the game and the gamers feeling fresh. If the "Star Wars: Battlefront" can keep its enthusiasts connected with the game, it may improve the probability that gamers will be more engaged and spend more time and cash to every upcoming paid content that the developer introduces. Since EA shipped 12 million copies of the game title, keeping a significant number of enthusiast to purchase "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLCs could translate to huge amount of income.

The "Star Wars: Battlefront" February update is available on all platforms - PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
