New details for the "Spider-Man" 2017 movie will feature its official title and Peter Parker will have an unique relationship with an Avenger in "Captain America: Civil War".
Marvel Studios revealed what appeared to be the official movie title for the "Spider-Man" 2017 during a press release for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" as the studio will stick with the given names of their phase 3 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Several fans theories speculated that the "Spider-Man 2017" film title will go by the names "Ultimate Spider-Man", "The Spectacular Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man: the New Avenger". Now Marvel Studios will just stick to the "Spider-Man" as many have speculated that reboot films are usually named the same for marketing purposes such as "RoboCop", "Point Break" and many more, Cinemablend reported.
In other news, Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will likely form a unique relationship with a particular Avenger member during "Captain America: Civil War".
The web-slinger in the Marvel's "Civil War" comic book played a pivotal role in its plot details as Peter sided with Iron Man's Pro-Registration Act and unmasked himself in public to further his support of the act. His decision, however, took a dangerous turn on him, which leads him to side with Captain America against the Iron Avenger and his forces.
According to a latest issue of Empire Magazine, Spider-Man will have a unique connection with an Avenger, although it did not revealed who he or she is in the movie, Fans speculated that it could be Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) since he is rumored to provide Peter with upgraded Spider-Man suit and possibly his web-shooters, Screenrant reported.
Spider-Man in "Captain America: Civil War" will likely be part of Team Iron Man against Team Captain America, joining other heroes like Vision (Paul Bettany), James Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle), Natasha Romanov/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and T'Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).
A rumored scene with Peter Parker will have been being convinced by Iron Man to join his Initiative, only to have shooting his web at him and swings away in defiance.
Spider-Man will be making his debut in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6 and his solo film will launch on July 7, 2017.
