"Arrow" season 4 recently cast Madison McLaughlin for a new role.
According to TV Line, the "Supernatural" alum will appear in an upcoming episode of the hit The CW series.
As of late, it is still unclear whether or not McLaughlin will appear in more than one episode.
The publication also hinted on the possibility of McLaughlin playing the role of Rebecca, a teenage character set to appear in episode 19.
Rebecca is described as a smart and snarky girl.
On his Twitter account, "Arrow" lead star Stephen Amell welcomed the actress.
"Please welcome @MadisonMcLaughlin to #Arrow. She plays (redacted) in ep (redacted) & is an expert tailgater in real life. So we're friends now," he wrote.
Meanwhile, the recent episode of "Arrow" season 5 saw Oliver Queen saving his son William from Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).
In "Taken," Oliver and his team tapped the help of Vixen in tracking down the villainous character who previously kidnapped his son.
Since Damien has always wanted to rule Starling City, he told Oliver that he will only give him his son back if he stops campaigning for a mayoral position.
Oliver agreed, but Damien didn't live up to his end of the bargain.
This led Oliver, Thea, Laurel, Felicity and Diggle to come up with a plan that will ensure William's safety.
In other news, Oliver's ex-fling Samantha also made an appearance in the episode after the former revealed his identity to the latter.
Samantha and Felicity also had a brief conversation about Oliver, and the former explained that it was her demand that Oliver should not tell Felicity about their son.
Towards the end of the episode, Samantha and William went back to their normal life, and Oliver decided to record a message for his son that he has yet to watch when he turns 18.
Another positive thing that came out of the recent events was Felicity being able to walk again.
"Arrow" season 4 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
