HTC One M10 news: Very compelling camera, 3 storage variants including 16GB and more new features

The Taiwanese company HTC has disclosed more details about the HTC One M10 smartphone through new teasers. Let's look at some of the specifications and features of the upcoming device. 

HTC One M10 is expected to come with a chamfered design together with antenna bands on its back panel. Reports suggest that the smartphone will have a premium appeal.

It is said that the new handset will be available in two chipset variants. Rumor has it that major markets will get the Snapdragon 820 processor variant while others will get a processor from MediaTek.

Also, according to a report from BGR, the HTC One M10 will come with a fingerprint sensor.

There are speculations that the new device will sport either a 5.1-inch display or 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560 pixels x 1440 pixels.

According to reports, the HTC One M10 will be available in three storage variants - 64 GB, 32 GB and 16 GB.

The decision to launch HTC One M10 (16 GB) could enable the company to price its forthcoming smartphone below similar offerings from LG and Samsung and improve sales of its device, since both firms start out at 32 GB for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5.

Furthermore, according to HTC, the upcoming smartphone will offer a very compelling camera experience.

According to a Digital Trends report, the HTC One M10 will sport a 12MP UltraPixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, laser autofocus and phase detection and a 5MP UltraPixel front shooter.

Chialin Chang, Chief Financial Officer of HTC, said that they can confidently say that the upcoming HTC smartphone will have a very compelling camera experience. Chang further said that they are making this comment after they have seen what is going on in the market.

Back in 2014, a HTC One M8 Windows Phone edition was released. According to some reports, the Taiwanese company is working on Windows 10 Mobile devices. Hence, rumors are doing the rounds that a HTC One M10 Windows 10 Mobile edition will be announced pretty soon.

If reports are anything to go by, HTC One M10 smartphone will be released in March 2016.
