"The Good Wife" Season 7 is not airing its latest instalment this week. The series, which is close to its finale, returns in March with episode 16 titled "Hearing." Here are spoilers for the next chapter of CBS's legal drama. Read on to find out what happens next.

Matthew Morrison guest stars as Assistant U.S. Attorney Connor Fox and Will Patton as Attorney Mike Tascioni in the upcoming segment. According to the synopsis for "The Good Wife" Season 7 episode 16 (via Spoiler TV), the show focuses on Peter Florrick's (Chris Noth) trial and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Jason's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) burgeoning romance.
In episode 15 "Targets," FBI confirms investigation against Peter. Eli hires Elsbeth's ex-husband Mike Tascioni to represent her boss in the court. He happens to be Eli's second choice after Elsbeth bails out on Eli. Meanwhile, Alicia joins a panel of lawyers for the Pentagon on a case involving killing of an American who recruits for ISIS.
Moving on to the episode 16, it is reported that "Hearing" will delve deeper into Peter's big trial by a grand jury. Once again, Alicia and Eli join forces as the FBI moves forward with the investigation on Peter.
The duo along with Mike come together to find out the charges against Peter and dig deeper into his case. Meanwhile, a grand jury gathers led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Connor Fox for Peter's trail.
While Peter's career hits the rock bottom, Alicia relationship with Jason continues to strengthen. Amid all the chaos, Alicia and Jason try to spend a quiet weekend together and discover more about each other. However, things don't go as expected. Their sweet time is interrupted by Alicia's family.
