Struggling team Atalanta BC (7-11-9, 30 points) will take on the challenge from streaking defending champions Juventus FC (19-4-4, 61 points) in a 2015-2016 Serie A match scheduled at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia in Bergamo, Italy on March 6th, Sunday.
Atalanta is reeling these days as the team had been winless in their last 12 games. Their last victory came way back in early December of last year, a 3-0 domination of Palermo also at their home field.
In contrast, Juventus is currently on a 16-game undefeated streak, winning 15 of those games. The only bump they had during the run was a goalless draw with Bologna on Feb, 19th at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
La Dea is coming off a 1-1 draw with bottom-three team Carpi FC at the Stadio Alberto Braglia in Modena last Sunday, as reported by ESPN.
Slovenian midfielder Jasmin Kurtic scored the opening goal for Edy Reja's boys at the 52nd minute as both teams went scoreless in the first half. However, Carpi was able to equalize the count at the 75th minute via a penalty kick from midfielder Simone Verdi.
The hosts dominated ball possession in the first half of play but Atalanta's defense held on to not to allow any goals to be scored. Although the game ended in a draw, the point was crucial for the visitors as they are now seven points adrift of the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Juve got back into winning form by dismantling struggling contender Inter Milan, 2-0, at the Juventus Stadium also last Sunday, as per SkySports.
Chelsea target Leonardo Bonucci opened the scoring for the hosts two minutes into the second half as the two teams have also gone goalless in the first half of play.
Spanish striker Alvaro Morata added another one six minutes before full time via a penalty kick to seal the win and three points for Massimiliano Allegri's side.
The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Juventus as they extend their unbeaten run to 17 games.
