NVIDIA driver update: NVIDIA released beta version GeForce 364.51; Download links for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 PC, Notebook inside!

NVIDIA recently released its driver update 364.47 for GeForce graphics cards that contains heavy bug fixes and additional features; however, just a day after, the consumer electronics corporation released another driver update - 364.51 version.

In March 7, NVIDIA released its WHQL- certified 364.47 drivers, which officially bring forth support to Vulkan API, but after users installed the updated driver, they have reported issues like their system were crashing. Other reported issues that consumers experienced were getting boot loops, stuttering screens and even black screens. To resolve the issue, NVIDIA recommended its users to completely skip 364.47 installations, and released a new beta driver - GeForce 364.51 WHQL driver - in March 8, Anand Tech reported.

It is said that the new driver does not bring forth new features or game support, but it is only NVIDIA's way to fix the issue and to prevent more issues coming. The GeForce 364.51 WHQL driver is not approved by Microsoft yet, but NVIDIA is launching it anyway. Users can either install the beta version or wait until 364.51 get certified by Microsoft.

Since 364.51 is identical with 364.47, the driver update guarantees gamers an optimum gameplay experience to titles such "Need for Speed," "Rise of the Tomb Rider," "Tom Clancy's The Division," Asshes of the Singularity" and "Hitman." The driver will also support Vulkan 3D API and will offer NVIDIA GameWorks effects, G-SYNC, Game Ready drivers and Optimal Playable settings, Guru 3D reported.

Rise of the Tomb Raider - Updated to 3DVision Ready
