Los Amarillos captain David Garcia netted the match's winner at the 30th minute as the team held El Submarino Amarillo to goalless performance, handing them their first loss since November of last year.

The win was the third straight for Quique Setien's side after a three-game losing slide as the team continues to evade the bottom-three relegation zone, drifting above it by four points as of the moment.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos pulled off a 7-1 demolition of middling squad Celta Vigo also last Saturday at their home stadium of Bernabéu, as reported by SkySports.

Three-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals, at the 50th, 58th, 64th, and 76th minutes respectively, to lead Zinedine Zidane's squad on its way to the lopsided victory.

Portuguese defender Pepe scored the opening goal for Real four minutes before the halftime interval while striker Jese added another one at the 77th. Star winger Gareth Bale, who substituted for Isco at the 65th minute, completed the seven-goal haul of Los Vikingos nine minutes before the full time whistle.

Spanish forward Iago Aspas netted a consolation goal one minute after the hour mark to put Os Célticos on the board and avoid a shutout.

The predicted result is another blowout win for Real Madrid, 4-1, over Las Palmas.
