Middling club Everton FC (9-8-11, 38 points) is set to host contending team Arsenal FC (15-7-7, 52 points) at the Goodison Park on Saturday, March 19th as the 2015-2016 Premier League season slowly winds downs to its final matchdays.

Everton had been in the middle of the league table all throughout the current season as they settle at the 12th spot as of the moment, 25 points away from league leaders Leicester City and 13 points above the bottom-three relegation zone.

The Toffees are coming off a 2-3 defeat in the Premier League in the hands of fifth-running West Ham United on March 5th also at their home field, via SkySports, before their 2-0 win in the FA Cup quarterfinal over Chelsea last Saturday.

Roberto Martínez's was a man down for most of the match against West Ham after Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas was sent off for a second yellow card at the 34th minute of the match with Everton up 1-0 from a goal by compatriot Romelu Lukaku at the 13th.

Everton did not falter even when they were down to 10 men, doubling their lead at the 56th with a goal from Lukaku's striking partner, England's Aaron Lennon.

However, it was all a matter of time before the Toffees break down as the visitors unleashed a three-goal storm in the final 12 minutes of the game, courtesy of midfielder Mikhail Antonio, striker Diafra Sakho, and winger Dimitri Payet at the 78th, 81st, and 90th minutes respectively.

Meanwhile, Arsenal settled for a 2-2 draw with fellow contenders Tottenham Hotspur at the White Hart Lane also on March 5th, as reported by BBC Sport.

Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey scored the first goal of the match at the 39th to give the Gunners a 1-0 advantage at the halftime break.

French midfielder Francis Coquelin was sent off seven minutes into the second half after getting his second yellow card for lunging at Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

The one-man disadvantage allowed the Spurs to score two quick goals at the 60th and 62nd courtesy of defender Toby Alderweireld and Kane, but Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez managed to equalize the game again with a goal at the 76th.

The deadlock held on until time expired as both contenders share a point in the overall standings.

The predicted result is a 2-1 decision for Arsenal over Everton.
