Actor Ken Chu and girlfriend Vivien Han Wenwen are getting ready to walk down the aisle. Following several wedding rumors and paparazzi run-ins, the F4 member has confirmed that he is ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Prior this week, wedding rumors surfaced in the online world, claiming that the 37-year-old actor and his girlfriend Han secretly got married after they were stopped at the Bangkok airport on their rumored honeymoon.
Chu's delegates in China immediately shrugged off the claims and clarified that the couple was still in the process of applying for marriage permit. In fact, most recent reports noted that Chu has already filed his marriage license to marry Han, adding that the procedure might take a while due to their different nationalities.
"We have only filed notice of intended marriage, and will need to return to Taiwan to complete the application," said Chu. "We will pick an auspicious date sometime this year to register for marriage."
The celebrity couple was linked last year after they were photographed holding hands in a shopping center. Their paths first crossed when Chu went back studying at Beijing Film Academy, coincidentally, Han is an alumnus of the said film academy.
As of press time, the couple is still yet to choose a final wedding date. In spite of the fact that acquiring the said marriage permit might take longer than usual, Chu and Han were apparently eyeing to hold their wedding within the current year, Apple Daily Taiwan reported.
Apparently, Chu is the third F4 member to enter the married life, after fellow members Vaness Wu already tied the wedding knot last 2013 and Vic Zhou, who recently married his longtime fiancée last November 2015 - leaving the group's former leader, Jerry Yan, as the main bachelor left.
In addition, Chu's manager dropped hints about the couple's wedding plans. Accordingly, Chu is planning to shed off at least 10kg to be a handsome groom, and that the celebrity couple is eyeing to hold the wedding ceremony and banquet both in Taiwan and China.
