Just when the aficionados thought that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will happen, a sad news awaits them - indicating that the game developer might have been stalling the start of the game's long-awaited development.
It has been months since news confirming the game sequel of "The Elder Scrolls V" surfaced the online world. Albeit the game studio, Bethesda, confirmed that the game sequel is indeed happening, that does not totally imply that they are already taking a shot at it.
With that in mind, fans worldwide were apparently nauseous about the future of the game. Not to mention that the lack of updates had prompted them to speculate that the cancellation of "The Elder Scrolls 6" could already be on the horizon.
Pete Hines, Bethesda's VP of Public Relations (PR) and marketing, reassured fans and attested that the six installment game will be pushed through as planned, adding that it just might take a while before fans can get a taste of it, Neuro Gadget reported.
Thus, it implies that the studio is aiming at things one step at a time, especially now that the "Fallout 4" game has already been launched. To date, the entire studio is still working hard to finish the latter's game DLCs before they put more focus on developing "The Elder Scrolls 6."
"Make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn't differed," said Hines. "We might change our approach to how it's presented but we've still stuck with who we are."
In light of that, many game critics said that fans should expect to see news and updates about the said sequel game by the year 2017, adding that developing other games including "Fallout 4's" DLCs should be finished around that period.
Considering Bethesda's timeframe, MNR Daily noted that "The Elder Scrolls (TES) 6" game will most likely get released at some point in 2019. Apparently, the studio releases a new installment in "TES" franchise every after four years.
As of press time, there is still no news and updates coming from Bethesda, thus, the reports ought to be taken lightly.
