There are now four songs from the soundtrack of “Descendants of the Sun” released to the public. The first three songs – “Always,” “Everytime,” and “This Love” have become viral on YouTube.
The fourth song, "Talk Love," was released on Friday by solo artist K.Will, or Kim Hyung Soo, reported Kpopstarz. The music video OST is on its way to becoming a viral video too on YouTube with close to 40,000 views already in just three days.
YouTuber Changmi Rose71 posted the music video with English, Vietnamese and Hangul subtitles. The video, which runs for 3 minutes and 37 seconds, initially opens with Song Joong-ki aboard a jeep in war-zone Uruk. The video has all the necessary elements of a feel-good music video such as jealousy, crying, embracing and yachting scenes.
The entertainment website noted that with its catchy whistling melody and scenes from the 16-episode drama, fans were all praises for the music video. One fan wrote that it gave her a good happy feeling while listening to “Talk Love.”
Meanwhile, “Everytime,” the 3-minute, 10-second music video, now has close to 2 million views on YouTube. Drezdendoll A, in a comment on YouTube, pointed out that the song sounded a lot like other songs that Punch and Chen did for the “It’s Okay, That’s Love” soundtrack, with similar chord progression. Umesha Mediwaka agreed, but added, “still I love both.”
“You Are My Everything,” has close to 1 million views. The 4-minute, 11-second video has been posted on YouTube for just one week. Like “Everytime,” the song got rave reviews too from the commenters.
Finally, “Always” is an even bigger hit with more than 2.2 million hits from three posts with an average hit of 750,000 each. The music video runs for 3 minutes and 25 seconds.
