A confidential source at Rockstar Games has confirmed that the game developer is already working on "GTA 6." Locations and settings have not been decided yet, but preliminary production is already underway.
According to Tech Radar, someone close to the "GTA 6" project revealed that the foundations of the game are getting laid and that the game may get released in the next few years. Considering that the gap between "GTA 4" and "GTA 5" was around five years, analysts say that the developer may take a few years before revealing anything official about the sixth installation of the franchise.
"GTA 6" may also come in 2018 or 2019, PC Gamer reported. Release date aside, reports point out that the music that will get featured in the game is already in the works. Apparently, Rockstar source Paula Reed has verified to Africa's Monte OZ that the company has already expressed interest in including Shatta Wale's "KAKAI" in "GTA 6."
"KAKAI" is a famous song in both African-American communities of the United States and other fans around the world. Wale's hit song made its waves across many charts worldwide, and apparently, Rockstar got impressed.
If it goes through, "GTA 6" players will hear Wale's song every time they are driving a car in the anticipated game. In the meantime, gaming experts are prospecting that a variety of new cars will see their way into the new game's car fleets.
Even with the release date falling in more than three years from now, "GTA 6" rumors are currently pointing to the possible improvements that the game will come along with. For example, there are prospects that there will be more Flying Missions.
In the previous installments of "GTA," aerial missions were quite scarce, but for the upcoming Rockstar hit, more missions are expected. There will also be more weapon choices, with the installation awaited to have an assortment of more advanced weapons and ammunitions.
What is more, "GTA" users might see the return of cheat codes which gaming enthusiast have always looked forward to seeing. The game may also come with bigger maps, a solution to gamers who suffer boredom after exploring their small maps.
Even as it seems, Rockstar has not yet confirmed any rumor about "GTA 6," and fans will have to wait for the official announcements.
