Apple smartphones have always been pricey, which gave Android phones a higher ground in the economy market, that is when the company dashed out iPhone SE, the next generation iPhone at an affordable price. The less expensive 4-incher is the iOS' take on Android proliferation.

Apple iPhone SE packs mobile maker's fastest processor and high-end camera to give the consumers premium quality performance in an iPhone at the price of an Android phone. The new strategy ensures that iPhone users will stay loyal to the brand for years to come, Apple Insider reported.

The Android-competitor had previously experimented with low-end versions, but buyers saw that as a risk because investing over $450 did not seem like a wise choice. So the company concentrated on premium models only, which worked. Now that the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S plus and the latest iPhone 7 siblings are doing great in the high-end arena, it was about time to explore the options in the low-end market.

The new iPhone SE arrived wearing a price tag of just $399, and became the most economy-friendly Apple phone ever, without compromise the promise of speed and quality. Specs like A9 processor, 12MP camera and Apple Pay facility, previously allocated for high-end iPhones only, are formidable features to one-up Android phones boasting similar prices.

Few things did not come with the iPhone SE package like FaceTime camera and 3D Touch, but those are not the considered major qualities from the standpoint of consumers. Possessing a 4-inch screen, the new Apple phone is made for the future, so buyers can rest assure they have the powerful smartphone to never lose its charm in the face of new mobile phones.

The long lasting stamina of iPhone SE is even evident in its name and Apple did not give it a number so it does not sound old with each new iPhone arriving in the series. This also does not mean that SE phones will not be updated in the coming year, but nothing is official on Apple's part for now.

"iPhone SE is technically a special edition iPhone 5S rather than an iPhone 6S, it won't matter to some, but to others it will be a deal breaker," YouTube channel iMore says in a review. The following video highlights ups and downs of the new Apple phone.
