"The Walking Dead" (TWD) Season 6 episode 15 ended with a horrific cliffhanger. The penultimate ended with a huge shocker wherein Dwight shoots Daryl Dixon. Now, the biggest question fans want an answer for is: Is Daryl Dixon dead or alive? Meanwhile, the actor who plays the fan-favourite character has shed some light on Daryl's shocker and the finale. "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale is only a week away and it is expected to be intense and explosive. Also, it is expected to resolve the episode 15 cliffhanger and reveal the fate of Daryl Dixon, who was shot by Dwight, and Glenn, Michonne and Rosita, who are held captive by former Saviour.
The shocking ending of the penultimate segment has left fans wondering whether it is the end of Daryl Dixon's story. Reedus talked to TV Line about Daryl's future and whether he will make it through Season 6 finale (episode 16).
Refraining from revealing the details about Daryl's fate, Reedus said: "I can't say whether or not he's dead. But he is definitely shot."
At the same time, Reedus assured that there is still a lot left to tell about Daryl's story. However, he is unsure if his character or any character is secure on the show. According to him, they "could all go at any time."
"There's a ton of story to tell with Daryl... But that's true with all of the characters. I think all of the [actors] wish they had a scene with this person or had more time with that character. But we're on a journey to tell a larger story," Reedus added.
Reedus describes episode 16 as "the most hardcore finale." According to him, it's "rough" and the "most gut-wrenching" finale ever. He assures that it's the "best episode" and it will surely blow your mind.
In the meantime, a promo video for "The Walking Dead" (TWD) Season 6 episode 16, which is aptly titled "Last Day on Earth," teasing the events of the finale has been released. In addition, the Spoiler TV's synopsis for the forthcoming segment suggests that Rick and the other group attempts to save one of their own and the experience will be life changing.
