"Empire" season 2 will premiere on Wednesday night, and fans will finally learn what happened to Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday).
In the teaser released by FOX for the second half of the season, it was revealed that Rhonda may have fallen off the stairs or the second floor of her and Andre' (Trai Byers) house.
However, there are also some speculations that Rhonda, who is pregnant at that time, may have just taken her own life because of all the pressures she's faced with when it comes to her marriage to Andre.
On the contrary, it's also possible that Rhonda is not dead, but her serious accident was just a cause to shake things up in the Lyon household.
Whatever is the truth when it comes to Rhonda's fate will be revealed when the second half of the season premieres this week.
Meanwhile, "Empire" season 2 will also see a massive confrontation between Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and her son Hakeem (Bryshere Gray).
According to the synopsis for the premiere episode, Cookie is not very pleased with Hakeem's business decisions, as well as his desire to team up with Camilla (Naomi Campbell).
During the first half of season 2, Hakeem and Cookie were working very closely together, and Jamal (Jussie Smollett) was the one who was working with his dad Lucious (Terrence Howard) at that time.
Now that Mimi already bought out Empire Entertainment, Lucious was left with no choice but to work with Cookie once again. This means that Cookie and Jamal finally reunited professionally and professionally, but Hakeem's way was the one that went astray.
Lastly, the first episode back will also reveal the true score between Hakeem and Camilla. It was previously revealed that the two characters may only be using each other for their personal gains.
As of late, it is unclear whether or not Hakeem is just making Camilla believe that they are meant to be together, but in reality is doing so for the sake of his own family.
Camilla, on the other hand, may also have some stunts up her sleeve for the second half of season 2.
"Empire" season 2 will return to FOX on March 30 at 9 p.m. ET.
