According to a listing by iQIYI.com, there are 145 episodes for "Dragon Ball Super." However, the makers of "Dragon Ball Super" have not yet revealed the number of episodes of the anime TV series. If we go by this listing, then there might be just 145 episodes of "Dragon Ball Super."
"Dragon Ball Z" had 291 episodes but it doesn't look like that DBS will have that many episodes as so far we have not viewed any fillers.
Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 36 titled "An Unexpectedly Tough Fight! Vegeta's Explosion of Rage!" showed Vegeta facing a tough challenger in the form of Magetta.
The metal fighter proved to be a strong one and after the barrier was created, the ring became too hot for Vegeta. Many believed that he will tire out due to the heat.
However, Vegeta was able to beat Magetta in the match. Next up, he is against the Saiyan named Cabba.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 37 will see Vegeta vs. Cabba. To everyone's surprise, Cabba turns into golden Super Saiyan form. However, Vegeta knows how to deal with him as he will turn into Super Saiyan Blue form.
"Vegeta's next opponent is the Saiyajin from Universe 6, Cabba. Cabba shows he figths evenly with Vegeta even in base but says he can't transform into a Super Saiyajin," reads the description for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 37.
In the preview trailer for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 37, Vegeta and Cabba enter the ring and start the fight. After blocking one of Cabba's punch, Vegeta packs a solid punch at Cabba.
Later, in the preview video, Cabba powers up to his Super Saiyan form. The end shows Vegeta transforming into his Super Saiyan Blue form.
