After numerous dating rumors swirling around F(x)'s Krystal Jung and Exo's Kai, S.M. Entertainment has officially confirmed the two k-pop stars budding romance.
The dating rumors started in March after the Korean media outlet Dispatch posted several photos of Kai and his supposed girlfriend Jung, stepping out of a car. The publication claimed that the pictures were reportedly taken on Feb. 17 in Los Angeles after EXO's concert in the city and the two reportedly enjoyed a short date, where they dined at a well-known seafood restaurant frequented by the Jung sisters.
Finally confirming that Jung and Kai's relationship, S.M Entertainment revealed that the two started as friends and recently began to have romantic feelings towards each other. Both members of K-pop groups are managed by the said agency and they have known each other for about 10 years, having met in 2007 as trainees.
Several reports suggest that the supposed couple are undeniably finding time between their bustling schedules. Kai and Jung reportedly met up on March 1 after the former returned from Jakarta and Indonesia while the latter returned from Nagoya, Japan.
Rumor has it that the 22-year-old Kai has been having secret dates with Jung in and outside South Korea. In fact, an anonymous source claimed that the two went skiing for a day together, adding that both of them like leisure sports so much.
"The two know that they are similar: looks, personality, taste in music, fashion taste, and hobbies. It was inevitable that they became lovers," a source close to Kai and Jung told Soompi.
Amid the clamor, Kai and Jung have yet to comment on the matter. The couple is said to be the second confirmed in-house couple under SM Entertainment after EXO's Baekhyun and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
