According to The Verge, the new tablet is more powerful than iPad Air 2. One user said that apps install quicker and several app launches are considerably quicker. The Music app is almost instant open while the iPad Air 2 took 3 seconds.

The other user said that the True Tone display is insanely great. Not all users of 9.7-inch iPad Pro are fans of the yellowing of the display. However, most owners appear to like the feature quite a bit.

Some users described the sound on the new device as stunning. However, one user said that the speakers are susceptible to vibrations at high volume levels like the Air 2. The other user said that the issue of vibration is less pronounced.

Some people were also concerned about the protruding back camera on the new tablet as it could prevent the iPad Pro from laying flat on a surface. However, several users said that is not the case.

One owner pointed out that the flashlight option is not there in the Control Center on the device.

According to a report from 9to5Mac, the new iPad Pro features an embedded Apple SIM card. In 2015, the tech giant included an Apple-produced SIM card with the cellular and Wi-Fi editions of the Air 2.

The company allowed the SIM card in the device to be removed. Some carriers forced the customers to use their own locked SIM cards to use their devices on the cellular network of the company.

Unlike iPad Air 2, the new tablet features a fully embedded version of its Apple SIM card along with the traditional slot where users can insert SIM card of any telecom providers. It allows customers to operate cell-enabled iPads as completely unlocked devices. Mobile carriers such as T-Mobile and Sprint support this move.
