"Game of Thrones" will make history by becoming the very first TV series to be shown on big screen in IMAX format, which started on Jan. 29, Thursday, and will end on Feb. 5.
Along with Season 4's final two episodes "The Watchers on the Wall" and "The Children," fans will also see the first Season 5 trailer on the big screen in more than 200 theaters in cities like Washington D.C., Toronto, Seattle, San Antonio, New York, Montreal, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta.
Though several short teasers were previously released by the Three Eyed Raven, a better and longer version will be aired via HBO on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. with the title "Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life." This half-an-hour special will include behind-the-scenes moments taken in three different sets, which are Sevilla and Osuna in Spain, Dubrovnik in Croatia, and Belfast in Northern Ireland.
"Game of Thrones" Season 5 trailer features Tyrion Lanister's bearded look. It also has made clear that Cersei, Tyrion's sister, is not pleased with her brother, especially that he has killed their father in the fourth season.
On the other hand, Sansa, which is played by Sophie Turner, decides to continue her journey with the company of Littlefinger, who pushes her to avenge her family members' deaths.
Glimpses of characters like Nymeria Sand by Jessica Henwick, Varys by Conleth Hill, Daenerys by Emilia Clarke, a sand snake, and a few others were also highlighted.
"Game of Thrones" Season Five will debut on April 12, 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
