Contending teams West Ham United FC (13-6-12, 51 points) and Arsenal FC (17-7-7, 58 points) are scheduled to clash with one another in a 2015-2016 Premier League season match at the Upton Park on Saturday, April 9th.

West Ham survived a 10-man circumstance against lowly club Crystal Palace to finally settle for a 2-2 draw also at their home stadium of Upton Park last Saturday, as per BBC Sport.

Crystal Palace defender Damien Delaney scored the opening goal of the contest at the 15th minute, which was quickly answered by the Hammers' Argentine winger Manuel Lanzini three minutes later.

French midfielder Dimitri Payet then gave manager Slaven Bilić's side the lead at the 41st minute with a curling shot into the top right corner of the net to give West Ham the upperhand during the halftime break.

However, the Irons got an unfortunate break when Senegalese midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté was sent off at the 67th with a straight red card for a foul on Eagles forward Dwight Gayle.

With still 23 plus minutes left in the game, the Hammers tried to fend off the one-man advantage attack of Palace as the visitors managed to level the game again at the 75th with a goal from Gayle to share the point in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Arsenal was unstoppable in their 4-0 conquest of newly-promoted side Watford at the Emirates Stadium also last Saturday, as reported by SkySports.

Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez opened the floodgates with a goal at the fourth minute of the match before Nigerian striker Alex Iwobi doubled it at the 38th to build a 2-0 lead at the half.

The Gunners continued with their torrid attack after the break as right back Héctor Bellerín tapped in a goal three minutes into the second half. Substitute striker Theo Walcott scored one right at the stroke of full time to complete the four-goal haul of Arsene Wenger's wards.

It was the second straight win for the Gunners as they hang on to the third spot in the league table.

The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Arsenal.
