The wedding of Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson and his longtime partner Alan Stevenson at Le Buzz in Marietta, Georgia was supposed to be featured in the grand finale of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" Season 5, sources told Radar Online.
However, the same-sex wedding ceremony in a redneck reality series will no longer be shown on TV as the show was canceled by TLC after Mama June Shannon was caught seeing her child molester former boyfriend.
In 2014, Honey Boo Boo's sister, Anna Shannon Cardwell, confirmed she was the eight-year-old relative reported to be the victim of Mark McDaniel, 53, a registered sex offender in Georgia who was released in March after his stay in prison for 10 years for child molestation, TMZ reported.
"I believe she is seeing him and hanging around him. I'm hurt," Anna told Radar Online.
Denying the allegations, Mama June said, "I would never, ever put my kids in danger. I love my kids too much. That is my past. I have not seen that person in 10 years" but confirmed she is no longer with Honey Boo Boo's father, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson but clarified that they have "stayed civil."
Mama June took to Facebook to respond to their family show's cancellation with a video captioned, "This a truth video and answering some of y'all question over the last few months since we have had to stay quiet and hope this helps and a appreciation video to all our awesome fans over yrs..."
