A Polish video game website has reportedly revealed "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Blood and Wine" expansion pack, which will be released on June 7. The game website updated the release date recently since its first reveal of the date at the start of March.
According to GRYOnline.pl , the upcoming expansion pack DLC will now be released in early June. The website previously reported that it will be released on April 26, but now the listing has been changed for unknown reasons.
This apparent reveal by the gaming website is in line with the CD Projekt Red's announcement that the expansion pack DLC will be released in the first half of 2016, according to WCCFTech. Like any other listings and other placeholder or listing dates, fans will just have to wait for Polish game developer's official announcement of the expansion's release date.
Geralt, the game's protagonist, will be exploring the Toussaint region, which is a land that the war has not touched yet and has a secret that he needs to unlock. Aside from the new lands to explore, the expansion also offers a new plot, new enemies, and new features. The game expansion promises more game hours compared to its predecessor.
The Polish game developer studio has been giving out hints to the fans of the game for a while now, like the release of in-game screenshots from the game expansion pack during a presentation that was held during the GDC 2016. The video game's composer has also said in an interview with Gamepressure that the new game expansion pack will have new music, which will be newly written.
The price for the second expansion pack will be $19.99, and the expansion pass that comes with this pack and the first expansion DLC, "Heart of Stone," is priced at $24.99. The new expansion will be launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There is still no news if this game expansion will have a physical edition just like the first one that came with two decks of Gwent game cards and tokens.
