Two of the world's best clubs, English Premier League giants Manchester City FC and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain FC, are set to clash in the second leg of their quarterfinals contest in the 2015-2016 UEFA Champions League tournament at the Etihad Stadium on April 12th, Tuesday.

Their first leg encounter at the Parc des Princes in Paris ended in a 2-2 stalemate as City gains "a slight advantage" over PSG with two road goals at the halfway stage of their final eight matchup, as per Sports Mole.

City's young Belgian winger Kevin De Bruyne drew first blood at the 38th minute of the match for Manuel Pellegrini's side after Les Parisiens superstar Zlatan Ibrahimović missed a crucial penalty kick earlier.

Ibrahimović managed to redeem himself, though, and equalize the count four minutes before the break with a freak goal at the 41st off a Fernando error to make it level at 1-all during the half.

PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot put the hosts on top at the 59th, but the English visitors managed to find the equalizer again at the 72nd courtesy of a short-range shot by Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho off the poor defense of Ivorian right back Serge Aurier.

Daily Mail Online noted that the Citizens "were not fancied to get anything" from the said match, especially with team captain Vincent Kompany sidelined by injuries, but "have instead achieved a result that has seen the home team progress on more than 79 percent of occasions in the second leg".

With the first leg result, Pellegrini's boys are now more favored to advance in the Final Four of the competitions even if Kompany is still unavailable on Tuesday.

City's goal scoring machine, Argentine striker Sergio Agüero, was reportedly a disappointment throughout the said match as well and is expected to also improve his performance in this second leg clash right at their home stadium in England.

The predicted result is a 2-1 win for Manchester City.
