New slogan for the top fast food chain was released to replace the current one. "Love beats hatin'" is the new McDonalds' catchphrase.
The company's current slogan "I'm Lovin' it" has been very effective on attracting customers for few years now, which means that the slogan worked and the marketing campaign is good despite the declining fast food industry these days, Pioneer News reported.
McDonald's declining sales has hit $1.1 billion in the last quarter of 2014, a downhill from $1.4 billion compared to the earlier year. The company's revenue went down to $6.75 billion, more than seven percent lower than the previous year, according to Business Journal.
The fast food giant has a new plan, changing their ad campaign and releasing their new slogan. Deborah Wahl, McDonald's USA Chief Marketing Officer explained that the company's unique position to bring a bit more 'lovin' to its customers gave them the idea of giving a little bit more of the lovin' part.
"McDonald' is in a unique position to bring a little more lovin' to our customers. We're on a journey to change the relationship and conversation and Pay with Lovin' is a direct way for us to engage with our customers. We believe that a little more Lovin' can change a lot." Wahl explained.
Starting Feb. 2 until Feb. 14 from 6am to 6pm local time, McDonald's will start their "Pay with Lovin'" campaign. This is a new form of payment that the company will push on the mentioned dates. Once a selected customer is done with their orders and ready to pay, the restaurant Guest Service Manager or Lovin' Lead will explain about the special gesture that the store is having that day where they have an option to pay their order with cash or with some act of Lovin' instead.
McDonald's is launching their latest advertisement slogan called "Lovin' Beats Hatin' in a Super Bowl ad."
