Two of the biggest PS4 online games are giving gamers a hard time on where to focus their time on, as Ubisoft's "The Division" and Bungie's "Destiny: The Taken King" will be launching new gameplay updates tomorrow.
Although most gamers might be a player of both games, one can only focus on one as the updates are expected to demand plenty of hours of gameplay, Kotaku reported. "The Division" will implement a raid-like Incursion. Gamers will get plenty of rare loots playing this mode and it encourages players to work together to go deeper.
The first incursion will reportedly take place on a water treatment facility hidden in the sewers. But, what might get to the player's nerves is that this game mode will have no checkpoints. Also, balance was prioritized by Ubisoft as gamers will be match against players around the same level. Even when gamers hide their equipment, the game will check their inventory and will be allocated to their corresponding level.
"Destiny," meanwhile, will open its biggest PvE event where players can now further strengthen their light level, new gears will be for sale and The Crucible will get another major update.
Now, the website made a poll asking players which game they will focus on once the updates are released. As of writing, out of 2,415 voters, 55.73 percent chose "The Division" while "Destiny" got 44.27 percent.
The biggest reason why gamers are reportedly prioritizing "The Division" is due to the free DLC update Ubisoft will unveil in May and this might be their chance to gear up for the ensuing Season Pass DLC set to launch right after. While "Destiny" would not be having their next major update until six months from now.
Also, fans are concerned with how long Bungie will keep "Destiny" interesting since "Destiny 2" is already in the works. There is plenty of stuff to improve and one of those is better campaign missions, Forbes reported. Also, Bungie should take a page from "The Division's" book and add a Dark Zone as well.
Instead of having players fight it out in a small crucible arena, Bungie should make a huge map similar to "The Division" where NPCs are involved and an option of putting bounties on other player's head.
