The action intensifies as the struggle between the Kaneki's group and the CCG is now at its highest. The action is expected to surpass the previous chapters on "Tokyo Ghoul:re" chapter 73, as the fight between Kaneki and ace investigator Arima is just getting started.
Last chapter, the Aogiri Tree are getting the upper hand in Cochlea as their mission is to rescue all their allies locked up in the facility is succeeding. Kaneki arrived just in the nick of time to save his comrade, Yomo from the hands of Arima.
Kaneki and Touka, after not seeing eye-to-eye after a long time, had their little moment and promised each other once they make their escape. The gang finally reunited when Hinami got to meet Touka and the others. After the touching reunion, they headed to the disposal compactor.
Kaneki instructed them to head there as once they do stop the compactor, they can escape through the drain. However, it seems like Kaneki is not expecting to get out of the facility alive, and tells himself that he will be the sacrificial pawn for the group.
Now, fans over at Manga Helpers came up with their own "Tokyo Ghoul:re" chapter 73 spoilers and predictions and apparently, some raw photos of the chapter are out. Kaneki will finally unveil a more powerful Kakuja that is said to be a mix of a snake and a centipede.
However, user Julias Arias thinks that this is unlikely as the snake Kakuja has been used before. Instead, Kaneki will have a dragon-like Kakuja.
But, user Qixus insisted that it will be a serpent called Jormungand, known as the serpent of Midgard. The things it represents include rebirth, desire, vengeance, salvation, death and corruption, which Kaneki's character all symbolized throughout the whole story.
Meanwhile, Undisputed Knight said in a video that the last page of the previous chapter hinted that Kaneki might go out of control once the battle against Arima resumes. However, he thinks that Kaneki will somehow make it alive against his powerful opponent.
