Asus Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe have been revealed in an online product listing which showed how both handsets looked like. The Asus Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe handset unofficial press renders were posted recently on the website Red Dot 21.
The Red Dot 21's description said that Zenfone will come in a 2.5D glass on its front and back and an aluminium frame, as well. According to Android Police, a decoration film that has a metallic spin texture was found beneath the glass on the back.
With Asus Zenfone 3 device, a 5.5-inch display along with a full HD 1080p screen resolution, a USB Type-C port for phone charging, laser autofocus, a fingerprint sensor and LED flash modules are expected to be featured. On top of this is an optional Smart Flip Cover. It also appears that the handset will be sporting silver, black and gold color options, with some resemblance to the design of Samsung Galaxy.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe, on the other hand, has not much detail except that it will come in an overall metal body design like the iPhone, but does not need a plastic antenna line for its radio signals. Moreover, the device is reported to have a wider display size of 5.9-inch with a screen resolution of just 720p.
Looking at the image of Zenfone 3 Deluxe, it seems that it will come with a physical button up front that reportedly may or may not include a fingerprint sensor. The device will also have a side lock button, a front LED flash. As implied in previous reports, the new handsets from Asus will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors and Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 9 to 5 reported.
Asus Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe are expected to formally unveil on the annual Computer exhibition in Taipei, which will be held on May 31 to June 4.
