Facebook will soon be offering concert tickets for your favorite stars directly from the Facebook Messenger. The social media giant is going to integrate its messaging app with a ticketing company that will register your ticket purchases.

The announcement was made during F8 developer conference, where Chatbots for Facebook Messenger was the year's big revelation, but not the only one. Facebook is becoming a growing platform for small and large businesses and as the companies are moving towards e-commerce, using the social platform to sell the tickets is a clever move. According to Ticketmaster's VP of distributed commerce Dan Armstrong the deal with Facebook is going to bring a nice experience to ticket buyers.

"By putting the ability to buy tickets directly within Facebook we hope that we're going to provide a more seamless purchase experience and sell more tickets," BuzzFeed quoted Armstrong as saying. He also told the news website the process will involve processing on the social site, but to claim the purchase, buyers will still need to confirm their order on Ticketmaster website..

The profit of the sales conducted from the social site will occur at the cost of affiliate fee the ticking site has agreed to pay Facebook. All the technical and business details put aside, this booking tickets on Facebook will bring a fast and convenient way for account holders for important stage events and concerts.

The e-ticketing system is rapidly gaining moment. Back in March, StubHub—which is owned by eBay—announced that users will be able to use VR to get the view of concert hall from their registered seat number. Likewise, Ticketmaster has worked on many projects in the past to promote their ticketing services through smartphones apps.

Apart from Facebook, Pandora is also playing around with its users so they can be notified about concert events of their favorite bands. On the other hand, Spotify's smartphone application is delivering something similar to redirect their users to Songkick.

In a latest update, the Facebook's ticketing feature that was supposed to book tickets on Ticketmaster, may not be the case, Mashable reported. Instead, Facebook Messenger's assistant called M will mediate the function to some other ticketing website.
