The two teams are coming off commanding victories in the previous matchday and will look to extend both of their winning streaks in this game against each other.

Juventus romped bottom three squad Palermo, 4-0, also at their home stadium last Sunday to send the Eagles dangerously close to getting officially relegated to the Serie B next season, as per Goal.

German midfielder Sami Khedira started the scoring for Massimiliano Allegri's side at the 10th minute before the floodgates sprung open with three more goals courtesy of the other midfielders Paul Pogba, Juan Cuadrado, and Simone Padoin at the 71st, 74th, and 89th minutes respectively.

It was the 23rd straight unbeaten game for the four straight Scudetto winners as they widened their gap to second-running squad Napoli to nine points in the current league table.

However, Juve did not finish the game unscathed as starting midfielder Claudio Marchisio suffered a knee injury after a collision with a Rosanero player at the 14th minute and had to be carried off the pitch with a stretcher as he was unable to walk by his own power.

Meanwhile, Lazio pulled off a 2-0 blanking of middling team Empoli at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome last Sunday, as reported by Football Italia.

Italian winger Antonio Candreva started scoring with a penalty kick at the sixth minute before Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi doubled the lead before the stroke of halftime at the 44th.

It was the second consecutive victory for I Biancocelesti, and its fifth unbeaten performance in their last six games, as head coach Simone Inzaghi's squad is now at the eighth spot of the overall standings, only four points behind sixth-placed AC Milan who is currently holding the third and last qualifying berth for the Europa League next season.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win for Juventus.
