All eyes this week are on the rekindled romance between Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo as KBS 2 TV and iQiyi air on Wednesday through Friday the three-part special on the making of “Descendants of the Sun.”
But two days ahead of the special, Jin Goo shared on Monday photos of some actors of the 16-episode drama having fun at the shop owned by the mother of actor Park Hoon, who played Sergeant Choi.
Jin Goo teased Park Hoon that the place, which members of the Alpha team consider their Taebaek hot place, has photos of the Song-Song couple and him, but none of Park Hoon. To add to the fun, Jin Goo and Song Joong-ki take a photo together like they are about to kiss each other and then Jin Goo posted their bromance photos online, reported Soompi.
Jin Goo also posted photos of himself and his mother and the two Songs.
Still on the subject of kissing, Kim Si Hyung, director of photography of “Descendants of the Sun” shared when he guested on “Got TV,” the YouTube show of KBS, that when filming the kissing scenes of the Song couple, they usually make about 100 takes because they need multiple angles.
Kim Si Hyung added that if Song Joong-ki made an error, it was Song Hye Kyo who would insist on reshooting the kissing scene, although both wanted a more perfect scene. The director also revealed that Jin Goo and Kim Ji Won had a bed scene, but they had to edit it out.
He shared that it was a flashback scene when the words “The let’s go to sleep” were heard, followed by a bed scene. But that scene was removed during the latter half of the editing process, although Kim Si Hyung stressed that it was not vulgar.
