Yoshihiro Togashi's "Hunter X hunter" manga is making a comeback after two years of inactivity in the Manga circuit. Owing to issues of the creator's health, the series has not been in production, but the good news for "Hunter X Hunter" fans is that volume 33 is now going to be launched in Japan on June 3.
According to Anime News Network, the issue of the Japanese weekly Shonen Jump magazine, which was released last Monday, showed that the 33rd volume of the "Hunter X Hunter" chapters is set for a June release. This is after the creator of the series came back from his hiatus, awakening the very manga that had been believed to be dead.
Reports reveal that fans had been wondering when the manga series would pick up again with a new volume, and luckily for them, the announcement of its renewal has come as great news. After painstakingly waiting for the next volume of the manga, avid fans will now be grabbing their copy in a matter of two weeks.
On the development, April 18 marked the official return of "Hunter X Hunter" to the publication of Ragashi's action-adventure, Crunchyroll reported. Before this, Shueisha, a Japanese book and video game publisher, had shipped the 32nd volume of the manga to Japan in December 2012. Viz Media, another Japanese-American manga, anime, and entertainment company had also released the same in April 2014.
Togashi had initially planned to take a fortnight break because of a lower back problem, but his case worsened and he ended up remaining far away for too long. Bookstores in Japan had reached a point where they had given up on the series, terming it as finished and selling whatever copies they had in a set of 32 volumes for $59.
With the news of "Hunter X Hunter's" return, fans are now excited for the arrival of the subsequent chapter in June. However, while the release in Japan is already underway, no date has been set for the series' release in North America.
"Hunter X Hunter" was first published in 1998 and had attracted a massive audience before the significant two-year break. Here is a clip on more about "Hunter X Hunter's" renewal:
