There has been a little word on EA's plan to release a console version of "The Sims 4," but the lack of news is not a hindrance for fans looking for any updates on the upcoming release. Now, fresh news are circulating that the much-loved life simulation video game is getting an expansion pack before Spring ends.

According to News Everyday, "The Sims 4" may be released on PS4 and Xbox One later than fans expect. It is rumored that "The Sims 4" is experiencing some technical issues when developers were on the midst of porting the game. The reports states that the issue is already worrying fans that are awaiting for word from EA.

The company has yet to comment on the recent issue, which means that the fans have nothing to worry about just yet. It is also speculated that EA is planning to announce new information regarding the console versions of "The Sims 4" in the coming months.

Meanwhile, fans who are on the PC and MAC version of "The Sims 4" have been enjoying the recent updates that came out just a month ago. Including with the general fixes for the actual game, EA has already added new content for which gamers could enjoy. The new content consists of a return of the Egg Challenge, in which, players could travel around to collect eggs, and this in turn will have rewards. Another is the Spring Challenge, where players should plant and care for their crops in the game.

Moreover, fans would be glad to know that EA has already announced the next DLC for "The Sims 4." It is said that this will bring a restaurant expansion pack that is slated to be released in late spring.

According to iDigital Times, the new expansion pack of "The Sims 4" will also be followed up with a kid-themed pack. In addition, an official trailer for the new DLC was released by EA, showing off the new additions that fans could look forward to in the coming months.

It can be noted that speculations about a restaurant DLC for "The Sims 4" has been going around for a couple of months, due to Sims Latin America's statement of "a dining DLC."
