Samsung's next flagship Galaxy Note 6 may possibly acquire a greater bang with its display and massive battery capacity.
Samsung is currently testing two types of display for its upcoming phablet and both have a huge 4000mAh battery, according to Sam Mobile. Apart from Samsung launching its prolific road warrior earlier this year, it could also be packing in extraordinary specifications associated with most of the company's smartphones. Furthermore, the publication has it that the South Korean tech giant is trying out both a curved and flat screen, with one of them set to feature in the final design.
It is reported that the two displays have a 5.8-inch quad HD resolution. The upcoming phablet is slightly different from the Galaxy Note 5, current on the market, with 0.1 inches. Samsung has opted to incorporate a "Slim RGB" display in its panel, a move that not only makes it lighter but also creates extra space for the 4000mAh battery that should take a section of the same space.
Conventionally, the manufacturer uses a smaller capacity battery to make sure that the once deemed huge phablet is as well not too heavy as it was the case initially. Although this strategy worked well for the Galaxy Note 5, it failed in terms of battery longevity like is the case in the full review of the Note 5 Dual SIM, according to First Post.
While the 4000mAh battery requires some huge amount of space, the tech giant appears to have discovered how to cater for the same with its slimmer display panel. Our expectations are that the weight is maintained so that the upcoming Note 6 does not end up like some of the Chinese smartphones that are seemingly overburdened with long standby times after compromising the weight.
With regard to the rest of the specifications, it is believed that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will pack in 6GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Rumors have it that the test models of the upcoming phablet sport a Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 chipsets, both running on Google's latest Operating system, Android N.
