"The Walking Dead" season 7 will finally reveal which character Negan killed.
In the finale episode for season 6, viewers of the hit AMC series were left with a major cliffhanger that had to do with Negan and another character's fate.
While speaking at the after show episode of "The Talking Dead," showrunner Scott Gimple said that details about this huge moment will be unveiled during the first few episodes of season 7.
According to Design N Trend, Glenn could be Negan's victim, and the publication gave multiple explanations why they believe he was the one killed by the villainous character.
The publication noted that Glenn died in the comic books and his fate was sealed by Negan there as well. Since Gimple previously said that they try their best to remain in sync with the printed version of "The Walking Dead," there's a huge possibility that Negan killed Glenn in the TV series as well.
While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Gimple said, "It's really just all in service to being faithful to the comic book inasmuch as one can."
Meanwhile, the early episodes of "The Walking Dead" season 7 will also reveal Rick and his people's reaction to Negan's bold move.
"Since we know that early season 7 deals with the impact of Negan's debut beating, the obvious question to ask is how Rick and company will respond to the trauma that's just occurred. Will they be ready for war immediately after the finale events take place? Will the Saviors force Alexandria into submission? Is there any chance for diplomacy at all?" Design N Trend noted.
Lastly, Maggie's baby's fate was also not revealed in "The Walking Dead" season 6. The biggest question at the moment is whether or not Maggie and Glenn lost their baby. Since Maggie also experienced a kind of pain brought about her pregnancy, it's possible that something might have happened to her baby.
On the contrary, it's also possible that Glenn and Maggie's baby is alive and if Glenn has been killed off, the child could serve as a reminder of his dad.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 will premiere on AMC sometime this year.
