In the previous episode, the celebrities performed one unlearned dance with a new dance partner assigned to them. Nyle DiMarco and Sharna Burgess topped the charts with 37 scores for their Viennese Waltz routine. Meanwhile, Antonio Brown and Karina Smirnoff scored the lowest for their Cha-cha-cha routine. However, no eliminations were made.
In "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 22 week 6, Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess, Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd, Kim Fields and Sasha Farber, Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff, Von Miller and Witney Carson, Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold, Jodie Sweetin and Keoikantse Motsepe, Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas, and Ginger Zee and Valentin Chmerkovskiy will return as couples and recreate a iconic dance routine.
ABC has released a press release revealing the details of the upcoming segment on its official website. According to the network, Brown and Burgess will perform Jive to the tune of "Footloose" from "Footloose" in "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 22 Week 6.
Flutie and Smirnoff will be performing a Bollywood dance to the tune of "Jai Ho" from "Slumdog Millionaire." Zee and Chermkovskiy will do Jazz on Janet Jackson's "Nasty." Still recovering from an injury, Sweetin and Motsepe will make a comeback with a contemporary dance routine to "Try" from P!nk's music video.
Fields and Farber will do Jive on "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray. Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd will present Quickstep on "Hey Pachuco" from "The Mask." VanZant and Ballas will do Jazz on "Soul Bossa Nova" from Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery."
As for Miller and Carson, the couple will perform Jazz, too. They will be recreating "Bad" from legendary musician Michael Jackson's music video. And Morris and Arnold will perform the third Jazz routine of the "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 22 episode 6.
Towards the end of the episode, the couple that scored lowest scores (combined judges' scores and viewers' votes) for the America's Switch Up and Disney Night performances will be eliminated. Who will go home? Share your opinion in the comment section below.
In addition, fans are wondering whether Sweetin will be quitting "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) Season 22 after hurting her ankle during the rehearsals. Fans must note that there is no news about the "Fuller House" star's exit.
"Jodie hurt her foot [yesterday] rehearsing for Monday's show. This is one of the toughest nights of the season, as the couples have to take on famous dances and recreate some of the greatest routines of all time," a spokesperson for "Dancing With the Stars" said in a statement (via E!Online). "At this point she is resting her foot and taking it day by day."
According to the report, the accident took place while she rehearsing for the next performance for "Famous Dances Night."
