It has been almost a year since the release of the Xperia M5. Needless to say, speculations about the arrival of a new addition to the Xperia M series, currently dubbed as the Xperia M Ultra, have made its way online. In fact, recently, specific details about the upcoming phone's specifications have been leaked. Based on the leaked information alone, Xperia M Ultra is a smartphone Sony enthusiasts would be excited to get their hands on.
Five days ago, information about the Xperia M Ultra was leaked in the Chinese social media platform, Weibo. According to the leak, as reported by Slash Gear, the upcoming M Ultra phone would clock in at an impressive 6 inch full HD display. It would be powered by a 4280 mAh internal battery and a Snapdragon 652 processor. The Xperia M Ultra would have 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
Moreover, the handset would be equipped with an impressive 23 megapixel camera with a 24mm F2 PSS lens and a 75 mm F2.2 OSS lens. The phone would also have a 16 MP front camera, which would be perfect for taking selfies.

For reference, the latest phone from the Sony Xperia M line, the Xperia M5, was released late in 2015. It clocks in at 5 inches and runs on a 2600 mAh battery. It is equipped with an impressive 21.2 MP rear camera and 13 MP front camera. Given the camera specs alone, the rumored Xperia M Ultra is definitely an improvement of the M5, with an additional 2 MP for the rear camera and 3 MP for the front facing camera.
