An expansion pack and online multiplayer gameplay will be coming to "Rock Band 4." During Harmonix's PAX East panel, they announced that the new features will be coming to the game through future updates.

The music game developer has announced that the musical video game will have its first paid expansion pack, which will be coming this fall. The new expansion pack will have improvements to the music library, which will include a filter feature that lets players choose songs by genre, and lets them rate each song, according to the game developer's official blog.

Another new feature that will be coming to this video game is the synchronous online multiplayer, according to another report from the game developer's official blog. A lot of fans have been suggesting for this feature since last year, and it took a lot of time for the developers to implement, since it had a lot of issues to solve. The new feature will be released this coming holiday season.

During the game developer's panel in PAX East, they discussed their 2016 roadmap for the game. Players will be able to enjoy characters from "Battleborn" in May, which are Miko and Thorn, and the content will be free to download. Also in May, double kick support for drums will be coming back to the game.

Players will also enjoy the new Practice Mode, which will be coming in June. Players will be able to slow down songs, replay specific parts of the song that they are having trouble with, have vocal pitch guides, and many more.

After the Practice Mode is released, the game will stop getting updates for the rest of summer. After the short pause of updates, the game will get the new expansion pack this fall.

The game developer has also confirmed during the panel that there will be some DLC tracks coming to the game this week. The songs to be added will be "What I Like About You" by The Romantics, "Redneck" by Lamb of God, and Weezer's "Dope Nose." Community lead Josh Harrison has also hinted the fans that there will be more DLC songs coming to the game in May, but there were no specific details.
