Dragon Ball Super wrapped up the Super Tournament saga on Episode 40 with Beerus' team taking home the victory after Monaka emerged as the last man standing in the showdown among the fiercest warriors in both Universe 6 and 7. However, the adventure of Goku, Vegeta and friends in the Dragon Ball Super setting is far from over as the series enters a new arc.
The roster of Dragon Ball characters expanded significantly with the introduction of new characters such as Hit, Cabba, Frost and Monaka in the Super Tournament arc. That number will continue to increase as the series' protagonists explore new world and encounter new beings along the way.
In fact, there's strong possibility the Beerus vs. Champa tournament isn't the last time ultra strong warriors converge in one place to decide the fate of the world. To make things clear, there are actually 12 universes in Dragon Ball Super, and only the universes where Beerus and Champa lord supreme have been mentioned so far.
Who knows what the series in store for its viewers in the long run? For now, here's what to expect in the upcoming episodes for Dragon Ball Super this May.

Episode 41 - And So, The Super Dragon Balls
Zeno, the lord of everything and the master of 12 universes, makes his appearance before Goku and company. His mere presence alone is a terrifying sight even for Lords of Destruction Beerus and Champa, suggesting his overwhelming power over all beings. The Golden Dragon appears to grant wishes of the victors.
Episode 42 - An Uproar at the Victory Celebration! Facing Off at Last?! Monaka vs Son Goku
It's going to Monaka-centered episode with tons of funny moments. Monaka, being the last man standing in the Super Tournament, will have a chance to test the mettle of Earth's mightiest warrior, Goku, in a battle of epic proportion. There are reports that Dr. Slump's Arale Norimaki will be making appearance in this episode.
Episode 43 - Struggling to Take Care of Pan
This is one of those episodes that lie in between two story arcs. As we all know, Pan is the daughter of Son Gohan and granddaughter of Goku. Who is struggling here? No idea, but it is nevertheless worth watching for if you want to delve deeper into the back story of Dragon Ball GT's main character.
Episode 44 - Secret of the Unleashed Superhuman Water
Again, this is another filler-like episode that lacks that wow factor but nevertheless necessary to the flow of the story. The title is a bit vague to understand, though it apparently involves something that gives superhuman ability to those who drink it (wild guess).
Episode 45 - The Amazing Copy-Vegeta
Finally, this episode is expected to bring everything back in order as far as the level of interest is concerned. There are already rumors this episode will see Goku and Vegeta travelling to Cabba's home planet, Sadla, where they'll meet an exact copy of Vegeta, who happens to be the planet's Saiyan King.
Dragon Ball Super is aired on Fuji TV every Sunday at 9:00 p.m Japan Time.
