"Captain America: Civil War" will features Baron Zemo's role during the war and more Spider-Man scenes from the latest TV spot.
"Inglorious Basterds" star Daniel Bruhl revealed a few secrets in "Captain America: Civil War" about his character Baron Zemo role in the conflict between Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). Bruhl told Total Film magazine (via CosmicBookNews) that the film holds a lot of secrets and tells a little something about Baron Zemo stating that it is "not that much" and that his character is really "mysterious".
Marvel already teased fans with a photo of Bruhl's take on Baron Zemo and has not yet wore the iconic purple mask in "Captain America: Civil War". Bruhl added that Zemo in the film is not a person who is mean and sinister, but a very clever and smart guy who does everything out of a very understandable reason and motivation.
With Baron Zemo introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could this mean that the Marvel Studios could be introducing another team of super powered beings in the MCU. It is theorized that Zemo's presence could add the "Thunderbolts" in the MCU. In the comics, the Thunderbolts are a group of super villains looking to be reformed as heroes and Baron Zemo led the group under the alias Citizen V. It aslo worth noting that the first incarnation of the team is that of the Masters of Evil, but the roster has been shifting in groups and Avenger's member Hawkeye once led the group into being better heroes, Comic Book reported.
In other news, a new TV spot for "Captain America: Civil War" revealed more footage of Spider-Man (Tom Holland). The video sees the web-slinger chasing both Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) during the airport fight scene.
Spider-Man swings and kicks Falcon and blocks a punch from Winter Soldier as he complimented the latter's cybernetic arm being "awesome" in typical Spidey fashion. Spider-Man is part of Iron Man's team in the film along with War Machine (Don Cheadle), Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).
Holland's version of Peter Parker will be starting in his own solo film, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" which features him struggling to balance his life as a high school student and supehero.
"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6.
