Destiny's second expansion, the much anticipated "House of Wolves," has had its cover blown and its secrets spilled.
An original poster (OP) named megamanexe4 claims on Reddit to have found a way to access the unreleased files in "House of Wolves." The massive online leak triggered by this OP exposed dozens of new weapons and armor plus new story details about "House of Wolves."
Among others, there are brand new Vanguard and Crucible gear for each class. The OP's post links to images of dozens of never-before-seen items, including Vanguard helmets for each of the classes and new Vanguard weapons. These new gear will raise an item's maximum light level to 39 while the level requirement for the weekly nightfall strike will rise to level 32.
Also revealed was part of the plot. It seems the Awoken Queen's Fallen soldiers have gone rogue. Players have to hunt down the rogues, a mission that will lead to the new strike and raid in the DLC.
And, yes, megamanexe4 claims "House of Wolves" will be released this May and not in March as we have been led to believe.
As can be expected, Destiny developer, Bungie, has kept silent about the alleged leak.
This megamanexe4 also seems to have found the Purchase DLC screen that serves as a preview of the content in the expansion, said Tech Times.
"House of Wolves" is the second planned DLC pack for Destiny. The first DLC pack was The Dark Below.
Released on Sept. 9, 2014, Destiny is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It is Bungie's first new franchise since the hit Halo series.
