The latest details for "Need for Speed" 2015 will feature new DLC features and information regarding the next "NFS" video game.
Ghost Games launched a new DLC update for "Need for Speed" 2015 this week as its features new multiplayer Speedlist, new solo events called the "Prestige", Daily Challenges etc, Gamespot reported.
The Speedlist features as series of five predetetmined events that players to compete against each other on Quick Play, Speed, Style, or Mixed modes.
Each event will have players earn points whichever place they win in a race and once the race is over they will just have to wait for the next Speedlist event. When the players finished the Speedlist they will earn them several titles such as "Street Urchin", "Sunday Driver", "Wannabe Racer", "Stick shifter", "True Contender", "Rising Star", "Night Rider" etc. until they reach "World Champion" status.
"Prestige" game mode in "Need For Speed" 2015 will be unlocked once the gamer finished the solo campaign of the game. The feature adds a new app to the in-game phone, which lets gamers to switch between regular and Prestige events whenever they like. The new events are more challenging versions of the ones they have played throughout the story mode.
New Activities are present in the "NFS" update which include Drift Corners and Speed Runs. Players will have a tough time mastering several drift courses as they must approach a specific corner and drift around it for points, or drive through a Speed Run as fast as possible. Keeping themselves from running into a wall or anything else will earn them huge points.
Other features in the DLC update include Daily Challenges, new Community Campaigns for REP bonuses, $ bonuses and discounts, three new Achievements and Trophies, improved network warning messages for players with a poor connection, new red zone on the rev counter to clearly see their rev limit, updated Drag Race Outro comparison screen and various bugs, improvements and stability fixes.
In other news, new details for the next "Need For Speed" title has been revealed as Ghost Games posted several job openings for the project.
These openings include UI Software Engineer, which the developers need to make the sequel's architectural design, implementation and debugging for multiple platforms, a Senior Vehicle Artist and a Development Director. In addition, the candidates must have knowledge with art direction and game design documents from cars, parts, surfacing, style, customizations etc.
The "NFS" is speculated to feature a customizable cars, collisions and car damages, WCCFTech reported.
"Need For Speed" 2015 is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
