Just like the fans of the hit HBO series, "Game of Thrones," Isaac Hempstead-Wright himself also seems to be pretty excited over the fate of Bran Stark in the Season 6.
While speaking during an interview, the actor has claimed that Bran is now pretty damn close to being the Three-Eyed Raven. He also admittedly finds his character's storyline quite cool this season since Bran has realized that he has been having his dreams because he needs to save Westeros.
"His power is not just in telling us about the history, but also might have a serious impact on the future" the 17-year-old told Entertainment Weekly.
After a hiatus of one whole season, Bran is set to return "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 2 that will be aired on May 1, Sunday. He was last seen in Season 4 finale episode and it is understood since then that he has been hanging out with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow), learning how to do magical things like using weirwood trees' memories to look into the past.
Bran's return in the show's Season 6 became obvious when HBO released some of the teaser images a while ago. Since then it was highly speculated that he will play a pivotal role in the hit fantasy series. His newfound abilities to explore the past, present and future of Westeros and Essos are likely to unlock parts of Westerosi mythology that have gone previously unexplored on the HBO drama.
It is even mentioned in the fifth and most recent book of the show's source novels, "A Dance With Dragons," that in one of his visions, Bran sees his late father Eddard Stark standing in the woods outside of Winterfell through the weirwood roots. Although Three-Eyed Raven tells him that he can only see the past but cannot change it, the young Stark is expected to prove that he is more powerful than his master ever realized.
The actor also hinted that Bran will be seen walking on his own leg in a couple of scenes. The character is even seen standing in the images released by HBO due to which fans have started hoping that he will walk again or is it just shots from his visions? Find out this and much more when HBO will air "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 2 on May 1, Sunday, at 9:00 pm. Check out the teaser below:
