Rumor is flying around that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are secretly tying the knot after dating under the radar for several years.
US Weekly first broke the news that Holmes and Foxx might be an item and are keeping their relationship under wraps. Speculations first came up in 2013, when Holmes was reportedly seen hooking up with Foxx. It was later revealed that there is a shocking photo of the rumored couple holding hands while playing a subtle game of footsie.
"Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with," a source close to the couple revealed in an interview with the same publication. "She's getting everything from Jamie that she didn't get with Tom," the unnamed source added.
The singer-actor is also reportedly very smitten with the "Dawson's Creek" star, wherein an insider revealed that Foxx refers to Holmes as "my girl."
Holmes was also in attendance during Foxx's 48th birthday celebration in New York City in December 2015, where celebrities such as Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson were also present.
The duo has successfully kept things on the down low, but fans of both stars are wondering what their current status is really. Sources say that the couple is ready to settle down after three years of dating.
According to Wonderwall, the couple is planning a wedding at Holmes' vacation house in Michigan. It was even reported in January that Holmes was seen sporting a huge ring. An insider revealed that Holmes and Foxx are ready to come out as a newly engaged couple, and that they have also been discussing quiet wedding details. There are also rumors that Holmes may be pregnant.
However, reports suggest that Holmes' ex-husband Tom Cruise is not too supportive of the relationship, as he is not keen on having Foxx as another father figure to daughter Suri. Ironically, Cruise is reportedly an absentee father to Suri, and that Holmes has been taking care of their daughter by herself.
Holmes and Cruise were husband and wife from November 2006 to August 2012, and the controversial divorce proceedings showed how the couple is no longer in good terms.
