"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature a new trailer detailing "Sword Art: Origin" and gameplay video showcasing a new weapon and monster.
Bandai Namco streamed a new story trailer for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature the backstory of how the new VMMORPG title "Sword Art: Origin" was formed. As seen at the beginning of the video, "SAO" protagonist Kirito narrates the events of what happened to him in "Sword Art Online" game three years ago and has his suspicions on the latest game due to it being similar to the original.
"Sword Art: Origin" takes place in a new region called Ainground as it highlights the town of Beginnings were most of the players hangout, explore and but weapons and equipment. The trailer also sees "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization's" new battled system as players can have a four person party and coordinate attacks against tougher monsters.
Players are given new sword skills in battled similar to the original "SAO" and can perform chain attacks using "Switch", dealing extra damage to more powerful foes. Gamers can also customize their avatar however they liked from gender, hair and skin color to character class, weaponry, armor and gears.
New playable characters are added in "Sword Art Online" Hollow Realization" such as Strea and Philia joining Kirito, Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, Leafa and Sinon. In addition, a new NPC named Premiere appears in the game with a mysterious purpose for Kirito and his friends, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
In other news, two new gameplay videos for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" features a new weapon and monster unit.
In the first trailer, players will weild a Large sword in the game and it deals more damage but lessens the speed due to it being heavy.The second trailer sees Kirito and the party fighting a new powerful monster called the "Great Horn Buffalo", Crunchyroll reported. The monster deals huge amounts of damage close ranged and it will take a powerful weapon and perfect team coordination to beat the monster.
Bandai Namco will launch "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" on Oct. 27 for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan as as the limited edition of the game features a box art illustrated by abec, a soundtrack CD, special contents Blu-ray disc, extra package for the Blu-ray and CD, "Dengeki Nerve Gear vol.4" pamphlet, and mini clear posters. The western version will be out sometime in the fall 2016.
