‘Dragon Ball Super’ episode 42 predictions and spoilers: Spar! Spar! Spar! Son Goku and Monaka battle it out

It is time for Monaka and Son Goku to finally spar as the tournament has ended. "Dragon Ball Super" (DBS) episode 42 showcases what happens next after the inter-universe tournament.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 42: "The Chaotic Victory Party! A Showdown At Last?! Monaka vs Son Goku"

The inter-universe tournament has ended and Monaka has defeated the most talented fighter of Universe 6, Hit.

The preview trailer for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 42 reveals that Monaka and Goku spar mid-air and Goku is excited about it. However, he wonders what is wrong with Piccolo and Vegeta.

"Hey, this is Goku! Oh Monaka, I thought you couldn't come to the party? This is great! Let's spar right away! Hey, what's wrong Piccolo? You're talking real funny. And Vegeta, why are you sweating? What's the matter with everyone today? Next time on Dragon Ball Super: 'The Chaotic Victory Party! A Showdown at Last?! Monaka vs Son Goku!' Don't miss it!," reads the translation of the preview trailer.

In the previous episode, Champa is angry that all his fighters lost during the tournament and he wants to end them all. However, the emergence of the Omni-King also known as Zeno sama freaks Beerus and Champa. The fighters believe that Zeno has saved their lives.

Later, Omni-King reveals that he liked what he witnessed and is willing to have another tournament, only this time it would feature all the 12 universes.

Beerus gets angry when Goku tries to talk directly with Omni-King and to make matters worse, he even shakes hands with him.

After Omni-King leaves, Bulma and others try to locate the final Super Dragon Ball and Monaka suggests that they should get a 3-D view, Whis appreciates Monaka's idea and they find out that the Nameless Planet is the final ball.

Super Shenlong is summoned using the language of the Gods and Beerus ask to revive planet Earth of Universe 6. He reveals that he is doing it as a favour.

"To celebrate the victory against the team of the 6th Universe, Goku and his friends throw a party at Capsule Corporation! But there it is revealed that Monaka, the supposed Strongest Fighter of the 7th Universe, is actually a weakling!?" reads the description of the new episode.

It will be interesting to see how Monaka continues to inspire Goku to improve and get better.
