Another is Yoo Ah-in who was Song Joong-ki’s co-actor in “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.” For their role in this Hallyu, the two won a Best Couple Award at the 2010 KBS Drama Awards. From bromance partners, they are now competitors for the Best Actor award in the forthcoming 52nd Baeksang Awards, reported Asia One.
The 30-year-old actor, now the most popular actor in South Korea and China, was nominated for the award for his performance as Army Captain Yoo Shi-jin in “Descendants of the Sun.” It is Song Jong-ki’s first nomination for his role in the 16-episode Korean drama, although the actor had a lot of awards in the past few years.
Yoo Ah-in was nominated for his role as Prince Yi Band in “Six Flying Dragons,” a historical fiction aired by SBS.

Besides the Best Couple award that the two won in the 2010 KBS Drama Awards, they were competitors for the Netizens’ Award, Actor, while Song Joong-ki also bagged the Popularity Award, Actor for the same role.
