It is clear that Kim Kardashian is the apple of Kanye West's eye. The 39-year-old rapper allegedly fired a security guard after he found him trying to talk to his wife just before the Monday night's Met Gala in New York City.
Kanye reportedly got upset and dramatically fired Steve Stanulis after he was seen chatting to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star outside her hotel room at the Waldorf Astoria, according to Daily Mail. It is reported that Kanye locked horns with Stanulis, who has protected people like Alanis Morissette and Leonardo DiCaprio, after the rapper came out of his room on the 36th floor of the building and saw the security guard giving Kim a package that had arrived at the reception for the reality show star.
Speaking with the New York Daily, an eyewitness said, "Something happened at the Waldorf Astoria where Kanye just lost it."
Another onlooker told the same publication that the "Bound 2" hit maker screeched, "This isn't right!"
Stanulis, initially a member of the New York Police Department, reportedly lost his job a few hours later, but he has since denied rumors that he was flirting with Kim in front of her husband.
Speaking to the same publication, the bodyguard said, "I'm a happily married man with three children and I have no comment."
It is not the first time Kanye, who married the reality TV show star in 2014 and with whom he has daughter North West, two sons, and a four-month son saint, has had a fight with Stanulis. The two came to blows some months ago when Kanye fought the bodyguard impressing the 35-year-old star during the New York Fashion Week in February.
Amid the alleged drama, Kanye and his wife appeared fantastic on the red carpet at the Met Gala. The two arrived at the event in matching silver sequined Balmain designs, with Kim displaying her impressive post-baby body. Kim was seen standing still as her rapper husband rearranged her slicked back hairstyle getting ready for a snap.
