Recently, ABC released a synopsis for "Scandal" Season 5 finale on its official website teasing spoilers and intense drama. According to the press release, each candidate running in the presidential election, choose their running mates and prepare to announce the names.
As for Olivia, she finds herself in a dreadful situation. Details about it remain unknown. Elsewhere, Cyrus receives shocking news that will change the course of the presidential race entirely.
In their Entertainment Weekly blog, Scott Foley (Jake Ballard) and Joshua Malina (David Rosen) tease what to expect from the finale. According to Foley, "Scandal" Season 5 episode 21 will do the groundwork for Season 6.
"The finale really lays out all of the pieces for next season, character by character. Where they fall with regards to the upcoming election, what roles they'll play - or not play - in it. What relationships are progressing, which ones are not...," Foley wrote in the blog.
"Speaking of the 'Scandal' Presidential election, some surprising choices for veep! Malina added.
