"The Backlist" Season 3 has become reputable its untimely deaths. The synopsis for Season 3 finale titled "Alexander Kirk, Conclusion" teases another character dying before the end of the season.
Fans may still be reeling from the sudden death of Elizabeth "Liz" Keen's (Megan Boone) on "The Blacklist" Season 3, but the show will not sow down to give avid fans time to breathe. Similarly, there have been reports that Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) will be betrayed by his close ally in the third installment of "The Blacklist," and now there is a pointer to that since the new synopsis for season finale is here.
The synopsis for "The Blacklist" Season 3 episode 23 titled "Alexander Kirk, Conclusion" via NBC official website reads, "As Reddington and the task force close in on the person responsible for Liz's death, a shocking betrayal leaves them racing to save one of their own."
From the synopsis, a central question concerns who the traitor is. It remains to be seen whether this person is from inside the FBI. At the same time, viewers are keen to learn about the individual that requires saving.
The original perspective was that the traitor would be Mr. Kaplan, according to Melty. It is not clear whether Liz is actually dead in "The Blacklist" Season 3, and the source believes that Mr. Kaplan played a role in covering up Liz's survival and kept it under wrap from Red. In case Red realizes this, he will look at it as a betrayal, which is why it was previously believed that the betrayal referred to Mr. Kaplan.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for season finale reveals that the betrayal puts one of the FBI task force in danger. As a result, it cannot be talking to the possible cover-up of Liz's death. In addition, since the show is almost ending, the synopsis could only mean that another member of the cast is about to die just like Liz. The only possible person in danger could be Aram since he shares a close relationship with Red, although this is not confirmation.
